I peered closely and drew in sharply. The shiny spines looked more like okra pods split in half and stuck all over its body. It looked messy. The hideous creepy little creature then lunged towards me. Startled, I ran out of the room into the bushes outside. Numbing fear pumped adrenaline hard. I ran as fast as I could . It was a dark moonless night and felt ominous as if the end was near. I stumbled, fell hard and hit my head. And I woke up. My heart was pounding...
